Painting I did of NYC in happier times brings back good memories

I was fascinated and inspired when walking along and examining rock formations at Lake Couer d'Alene particularly their strong graphic qualities and muted colors. A a result I have sought to paint that here.

Well show in NYC postponed to June but no worries. Attached are the paintings which will be in the show at Amsterdam Whitney Gallery

This piece is a commission of a work by the New York artist Geoffrey Johnson - quite pleased with how it turned out.

Here is a new piece based on the phenomena of Chinook clouds which we get in Southern Alberta
