Today is Funeral Director and Mortician Recognition Day. I want to thank all the wonderful people who I've had the privilege to work with. I am grateful for the... opportunities and support shown to me over the years. I am also grateful to my friends and community for their caring and understanding. I really appreciate it when you check in, especially over the last year. Working in funeral service can lead to compassion fatigue, long days at the office, and sleepless nights. We spend a lot of time away from our own families and a great deal of money on pantyhose. It is rewarding work though. It requires dedication and purpose.
