Most of you know the story - May 15th, 2010 - a trip to a local auction - almost a year after the first trip there, when we got our first mini, Gimli. This trip, I brought home another gem. Tonka, aka Supertonk. Really hard to type all I have to say about the dude, so just three photos that I hope tell much of the story. He is all one could hope for in the form of an equine.

My very first drive in a Firefly - June, 2019. Little Tank, and our darling Button - she has since passed, but Tank is still going strong, as are the Firefly carts. Long waits for our equipment, but worth the wait.

For your Sunday evening entertainment. Yup, the bear can skijor - well, until his frame gave up the ghost! Tonk - well, he is the Tonk!!

Here is Midnight Sugar Ray! Three year old Section B Welsh stallion - and a pretty spectacular horse!! Awarded the title of American National Champion in 2018 at the Welsh Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma. He has a busy life ahead of him this fellow, and hopefully skijoring will be a part of it!! THANK YOU Karen Chorney for letting me put him on my cover page!!!

Two skijoring rigs are up for grabs!! Breast plate measurement - centre of ring, to centre of ring - is 32 inches. Girth can go from 47 to perhaps 53. A little more Halloween decor. Some of it, even "functional". Really, who would not want to have a Halloween skijoring harness, complete with spiders? ! Everybody needs one of those, right? Oh, and then there is little Jim - he just liked one spider...only one!

Holy smokes! Photos like these really make my day, and keep me chugging along!! Two extremely darling minis, sporting two of the brightest colored harnesses I have made! I am very proud to have Button (sporting the lime green & yellow), and her buddy Pocket wearing these!! A really big thank you to Nancy Gauthier for letting me post them, and for all of her support!! Our little Tank! I tell ya, though well over 20, only 33 inches tall, over in the knee - this little fella is like the energizer bunny! He is such a quick little fella, along with everything else he is! Let us take you for a spin! A pretty tight course here, and yup, a clean run!!

Thanks to Pattys Pony Place for helping me fulfill a lifelong dream today! Owning show and dressage horses my entire life, I have always wanted to trail ride but never owned a horse appropriate for the trails. About 10 years ago I became fascinated with miniature horses and switched my dreams to showing miniatures and d...reams of CDE and trail driving with them. In the conversion from riding to driving miniatures about 7 years ago, I started with all young miniatures to train myself and after many minis with many different issues I was blessed about a year ago with Dani, a 3 year old mini destined not only for the show ring but also for CDE and trail driving. Knowing she was going to be THE one I have searched for my entire life, I ordered for her, The Cricket-the cart I heard from many was by far the best cart ever. Now being over 55 years old, brave wouldn’t be a word I would really use for myself. So today, Dani and I embarked on our first journey today into trail driving with our new Cricket! First time I hooked her to the cart we headed straight for the trails. She drove it like she had driven it for a year. SAFE. SECURE. All my worries went away. This cart gave me confidence to know everything would be perfect today. We went though some seriously tough areas with all the confidence that we both, Dani and I, would be just fine. COMFORTABLE. Not only confident, but so comfortable for both Dani and I with so many adjustments to fit her and I just perfect in all directions. And the independent suspension can’t be matched! Such a smooth ride! PERFECT. Thanks Patty and Kelly for making such an amazing cart and all y’all have done to help me realize my lifelong dream today! See more
