This photo was a game of patience as this one was quite content hanging out in the most dense of branches while I walked around looking for an opening to zoom in between.

Took Chris on a hike with me and found his inner Disney princess and made some bird friends!

Another encounter with the barred owls of Kingston. Hoping to get some action shots in the future but for now I am still beyond delighted to find one of these guys sitting in a nearby tree.

I've been really pushing myself to start going out and taking photos more often this year, as I feel like my motivation has been low for the last little while. A few wildlife encounters from this past weekend have really helped to raise my spirits and I hope 2021 brings even more!

Had an amazing wild owl encounter yesterday evening! This one swooped right towards me on its hunt for a squirrel! I was already feeling pretty happy having seen a deer and a couple of rabbits but this amazing owl really made my day. I'm still smiling about it!
