GREAT WHITE SHARK SCULPTURE Despite Bruce being a time honored family name, and without any intentions of malice or mischief towards my son,brother, or a host of ancestors , Bruce just had to be the name of my first shark sculpture. He derives his name from the mechanical shark used in Jaws, as well as the shark in Finding Nemo, although I was aiming for the predatory countenance of the former.

I've been splitting my time between painting and working on wood sculpture. This is one of my latest Humpback Whale pieces, "LOVERS IN A DANGEROUS TIME"; Wood and oil paint on a mahogany base; 20 x 10. All of the whale sculptures to date are sold but I am working on several new pieces, including my first Orca Whales, and a Great White Shark.

DISTANT SHORES: oil on panel; 16" x 20" Distant Shores is my latest painting. It tells a story but if I did know what that tale is about, I wouldn’t say.
