So nice to meet up with my friend Quentrel Provo today. I remembered I photographed him last year at my place. When the pandemic is over I’m going to enjoy having people over for portrait sittings again!

I’m having really messed up dreams these days. Trouble falling asleep then waking at 5am kind of business. I’m not telling you anything you don’t know when I sa...y that life feels surreal as hell right now. Any small taste of normal things is buoying me so my face is above water while biding my time u til this is over. Met outside today with my friend Shawn Cleary. Small tastes of normal while eating surreal. Step by short step we will get through this together.

Pandemic Diaries- The New Normal: Cheat Day! Went out for air after dark tonight. Went to Shoppers Drug Mart to oick up some soup and move around a bit. Decided... to order McDonalds on Skip the Dishes and waited in the Nelson Place entrance for the driver. I asked a few drivers if they were Ramneek, none of them were. A smiling turbaned gentleman walked up and the other guys smiled and nodded in his direction. It was Ramneek. I explained what I was doing, that instead of waiting at my door, a 30sec drive away, I ordered and waited next to the door of McDs. Just killing time in the time of the pandemic.

Pandemic Diaries- The New Normal Ran into a friend I don’t see much. She lives in my apartment complex, but between schedules etc we don’t see each other much. ...A couple days ago she was on her way out for groceries and we said hi in the entrance to Nelson Place. Snapped a quick shot and parted. She had been using a cane for a long time, and I was very happy to see her without it, kicking ass, walking well. Great job! Take care, everyone. Rosie Rotica

Pandemic Diaries- The New Normal: Abstract I’ve been bringing my camera on my daily fresh air missions. With the bright overcast light today and the starkness o...f the leafless trees, conditions were ripe for some multiple exposure photos. This is an in camera technique where I am layering exposure on top of exposure(for a total of ten), while moving the camera in between shots. It lends an almost pointilistic quality to the images.
