Find a listening ear quickly and easily. While we cannot provide long term counselling through Pause, we want to address the barriers and wait times for Mental Health Concerns by making our services easily accessible. This is why our mandate for who we serve remains broad! as broad as possible.
There is a lot to talk about. Give us a call tonight 5-9pm

DId you know that you can call us any time to set up an appointment? Just leave a message on our toll free number. We will get back to you on Tuesdays and Thursdays with an appointment time. We are not an emergency service. If you need to speak with someone right away you can call the provincial mental health crisis line 1-888-429-8167.

Things are tough. Give us a call <3
Hello everyone. We have missed providing services the last few weeks because of the Covid-19 crisis that we all have been experiencing. We are hoping to be able to give an update in the next few days on how you can reach out to our counselors during this time. Stay tuned.
Hello everyone. This is a strange time for all of us, but especially difficult for those of us struggling with our mental health. The most important thing we can do for each other is following the guidelines set out by public health. For now, this means that Pause will not be running in person sessions on March 17th or 19th. We are looking at ways that we can be of service to the community and are hoping to make an announcement of other options that we can provide to community members who use our service. Please stay tuned! As always, if you are in distress please call the Mobile Crisis Team 902-429-8167. For less urgent support you can message us or call 902-420-0303 x3.
Dawn and Taylor are doing a karma yoga class in support of Pause and to work towards their yoga teacher certification. Hope to see you there!
Great news! We have been supported by the Department of Culture and Heritage to continue our work! We will see you Tuesday February 18th at 2131 Gottingen from 5-9pm! AND Thursday February 20th at Chebucto Family Centre (3 Sylvia Ave) from 5-9pm!
Fingers crossed! Thanks so much to everyone for their support for this program! The mental health of our community is so important!
