This was our entry for the #pluspedalchallenge by Gamechanger Audio. This is a Mexican Strat with a Brazilian humbucker pick-up ( Malagoli Captadores ) going into an MXR EQ, then the Plus Pedal followed by an Eventide H9 and Strymon Big Sky. This was created for the #pluspedalchallenge by Gamechanger Audio. Words and music by Sri Chinmoy. The video didn't win the Challenge but it generated a good amount of views in the week it was up.

Voici Alap et Lukas (duduk et udu) qui feront parti de la tournée canadienne. Le duduk est un instrument à vent au son enivrant. Pour le concert de Montréal, ...il y aura du stationnement gratuit sur les rues avoisinantes ainsi que dans le stationnement de lancien Provigo à 6 minutes de marche (voir les photos 2 et 3). Il y a aussi du stationnement payant sur place. Le spectacle aura lieu dans la magnifique salle Émile-Legault du cégep de Saint-Laurent. The duduk is an Armenian reed instrument and its very haunting. The Montreal concert is on October 14th and will take place in the beautiful salle Émile-Legault of the cégep de Saint-Laurent. Last year Sahadeva, Ashirvad and I worked on this album of songs by Sri Chinmoy arranged by Sahadeva. We got the physical CDs ready just in time for our tour ...of Czech Republic and Slovakia in November. Now its available wherever you get your music, whether its iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Tidal or anywhere else. Sahadeva studied music in London, England where he lives and has listened to a lot of Nat King Cole, Gregory Porter and others of that genre over the years. I feel this is a nice collection of prayerful, soulful and devotional arrangements. Ashirvad was our trusted engineer and mixer and the album was mastered by Ben Beigne Morier. Ramita from Prague did our graphic design. I added some voice, bass and guitar. The recording was done in London, Montreal and New York. A few weeks ago we were in Bratislava, Slovakia to play a concert honoring the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia. During a break in the sound...check a few of us stepped out for coffee. As a pure coincidence we ran into Grammy Award-winner Gregory Porter who was getting coffee at the same shop. He had just bought an antique surveying kit at the shop across the street (as Grammy Award winners do) and was on his way to his next gig later that day. We chatted for 15 or 20 minutes. It was mostly he and Sahadeva discussing their mutual love of Nat King Cole but he also opened up about his own life in a very nice, friendly and unassuming way. One of my favorite photos from Mongolia this past July. This camel herder used to sell cars in the city. Now his wife and two young children live in a yurt in ...the Gobi desert. He feels the future is going back to traditions. Hes trying to spot his herd from the door of his yurt in this photo.
