Seeking experienced, mature, reliable, & detail-oriented individuals to join our Winter Maintenance Team. This position will require the use of a SKID STEER LOA...DER to clear snow from Commercial properties in the Orillia area. Responsibilities & Duties: *Perform routine Circle Checks and top up Fluids and/or Fuel as necessary; *Follow a pre-determined Route and Clear Snow from Commercial Properties; *Accurately complete Route Log Sheets and/or Electronic Logs; *Communicate with fellow Crew Members and Office Dispatch via Two-Way Radio's to ensure expedient and efficient Service to all properties; *Ability to commit to working the duration of the Winter Maintenance Season as required, (up to and including April 30, 2021); *Physically-fit and capable of working outdoors in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time (although Cab of Skid Steers are Climate-Controlled); *Ability to sit for extended periods of time while operating equipment; *Ability to work a variety of Shifts including days, evening, overnight, weekends, & Holidays, including extended hours; *2 Pieces of Valid, Government-issued Photo Identification, in additional to a Valid Ontario Social Insurance Number; *Legally-entitled to work for payment in the Province of Ontario; *Other duties as assigned by Management Preference will be given to candidates who can provide demonstrable ability in being able to operate two or more pieces of equipment (ie. Plow Trucks, Front-End Loaders, Farm Tractors, etc...). Pay Rate will be negotiated based on relevant experience, skill set, and candidates availability. We offer a competitive Wage, Vacation Time, Paid Statutory Holidays/Premium Pay, and Bonus opportunities. Candidates must be available, as weather dictates, up to & including April 30, 2021. A pothole is "just a puddle of water" , right? For approximately 6 months out of the year, during the Spring & Summer Months, the biggest risk a pothole presents is wet shoes & socks . Please be reminded that weather at this time of year can be unpredictable, and can change quickly from fall-like conditions to winter conditions with little notice. Adjust your driving accordingly, and dust off the Winter Gear ! Be safe...stay well...
