We've been busy at Paw & Order!! With Covid causing our overnight guests to be few and far between, we knew that we could still make the very best use of our space to help those furry souls who need us. Last week we were able to rescue 2 pups that needed their very own furever family. We took them in with open arms and found the perfect family for both of them with the help of Dun Roamin' Stray & Rescue :). We have also been playing Foster Parents to 2 Great Danes (Pablo and Nash) since October 2 with the Oromocto SPCA and Nash brought us 9 brand new baby puppies on Remembrance Day!

Available for the first time is a 12x18 print of our Class of 2020-2021 similar to the HUGE one that these two girlies are looking over :). They gave they stamp of approval and we think you will too. It's THAT dreaded time of year once again when CIRDC is about to make the rounds in our area. Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex (CIRDC) CIRDC refers to a contagious cough caused by one or more viral or bacterial pathogens. People often refer to CIRDC as kennel cough because of its frequent association with dogs that have been recently housed in kennels or shelters but it can be picked up wherever dogs may travel (neighbourhood walks, pet stores, veterinary offic...es, etc.). PLEASE, if your pet is exhibiting any signs of coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge (signs that they have a cold), keep them home from school. They must be absolutely symptom free for 7 consecutive days before returning to our facility. We are well prepared to fight this battle with the addition of our PetAirapy system and our certification in Infectious Disease Management BUT it takes only one pup to bring it into our facility and we don't want to contribute to spreading. Boo! It's that time of year again!! We dare you... to bring on your best costumes! During the last 2 weeks of October we will be doing our annual Halloween costume contest. Bring your fluffy friend with their scariest/funniest/cutest outfit and we will snap their picture. We will then post pictures to our Facebook page and calculate each "like" on the photo combined with a mystery judge panel to determine the winners! Prizes to be won!
