UP FOR ADOPTION!! Luna is a very happy, playful and energetic 7 month old female husky cross. She has a lot of energy and is always ready to play. She is just starting to get over her fear of walking in a city environment with moving cars as they tend to frighten her. She does excellent when walking on trails such as centennial, but needs to learn to not pull on the leash. She would do best in a home with another young or energetic dog to play with, a larger fenced yard for her to run around and no small children (unsure about cats). Here is a update on what the Paws volunteers and rescuers have been busy doing!! Up on a remote reserve there is a bad case of parvo virus. We have been flying in pups thanks to North Star Air for helping us so fast . Our fosters have been doing everything they can to save them by sub cue fluids in the back to keep them hydrated and giving them meds . I am happy to say all the pups that came in and put in 3 different foster homes over and over are all healed up now and have... been adopted. Unfortunately some never made it and passed away either in the teachers home or on the plane. It was horrible. Others passed away somewhere else who we couldnt get too . A awesome vet down east found out what was happening and since no clinic has been able to go up there due to covid she talked to the university of medicine and put a plan in action . The vet shipped the meds to me and i put them on the plane the next day for the amazing woman on the other end that jumped right in to save them. She also started vaccinating all the pups and young dogs and the chief put out a message for everyone to keep their pets in during this hard time. Paws for Love has been raising the money to pay for all this medicine and its been awesome response from the supporters. We dont just take dogs from reserves if we can help in other ways we sure will do it for these 4 legged friends of ours. Well we would really like to thank all our supporters that have helped us help the dogs . This is one special boy named Kylo he came into care with a deformed paw due to being hit by a car on the reserve. With him being so long ,lanky and young we checked into getting a prosthetic limbs for him . Dr Matt at crossroads did the procedure of removing the bottom part of his leg and helped us with the measurements and stuff needed for his new limb. Due to Covid this took longer than hoping for but today we placed his limb on him . The video will be following in the comments. This is amazing and we will certainly be posting updates on his progress . Thank you everyone !!!!

He is a very affectionate dog and loves cuddles and pats. He is very well behaved - house trained, walks very well on a leash, and listens to commands. He would do well in a home with people who have lots of time to spend with him. Bruno will quickly become attached to you and is the most trustworthy, loving pup. He is great with kids dogs and cats and weighs 107 pounds of pure love!!!!! He is vaccinated neutered and microchipped and waiting to start a trial adoption with the perfect family . She just finished with her 2nd litter of 9 pups and there will be no more pups for her. I have somewhat poor sight, but can still get around just fine. I am great with kids and babies as well as dogs. However, I have trouble getting along with some other cats. I am fixed, fully litter trained, and I love the indoors. If I ever happen to escape I will just flop on the ground and roll in the dirt. ... We flew in 2 of her pups a couple months ago and now we brought the mom in to spay. This girl has caught the first wasaya flight this morning and is gone back home to her owner spayed!!! Rescue has 3 stages !!! First stage is helping and getting the dogs into care !! Second stage is cleaning them up , vetting them and giving them soooo much love that they dont think about the past and then the final stage where the foster gets crushed and the tears come down their face as the rescue finds a amazing home!!! A brand new life one that they probably did not know ever existed . This boy Marley lived in a situation where no dog should have but now look what this dog has!!!! He left today on a trial adoption . He was the most healthiest of them all from that picture and he bounced back really fast . He is neutered vaccinated and loved already !! Thanks to the amazing vets at crossroads for helping the next day and still they are working on the other 5 . They all will have happy endings like this one !!! Prayers are answered

WOW !!!!! Look at this the Dorion Public School had a Valentines day store set up to raise money for the dogs and pups at Paws for Love . This is so amazing what these kids and teachers did. Well I am still in Toronto and still helping the dog's. We had 6 small dogs come into care that really are in bad shape. They all had emergency vetting at cross...roads already and are slowly gaining strength. We postponed all surgeries for a couple weeks so they can get some weight and strength. I want to thank my amazing fosters for helping so much and the love and attention that they are giving them . Special thanks to Micheline Tamminen, Sharon Dafoe , Sharron Patricia and Lesley Lamers for the love and devotion you all are truly amazing .
