Hey guys!!! We have 2 spots open in our Mon/Wed group, and 1 spot left in Tues/Thurs starting next week. We couldn’t be more excited about your response to our Head Start Program!! This is our compromise until we can offer our typical one on one and group sessions again! The Head Start program is a combination of daycare and training following our typical group class curriculum. You’ve seen a lot of pointy eared dogs on our page recently. Apparently having a litter of Malinois will do that . We have kept back our working prospects, and have placed a couple in family homes, but this sassy little Mal named Juno needs her very own people and is available for sale to the right home. So, what is the right home? Well for Juno she requires someone who is interested in dog sports. She has food drive, ball drive, tug drive, and personal play skills. All ...the energy and drive of a typical Mal. With that comes also a feisty independent streak. You could say she’s not super...forgiving of handler error or poor timing. She will make you a better trainer and will have you laughing about it as you go. She will excel in agility, rally, detection, tracking, or barn hunt with the right handler. She will not excel with someone who wants to push her into work, and won’t be a cooperative partner if you plan to pressure her into anything. The running joke is she’s part cat, and I think she would agree. She can entertain herself for hours with a ball, and will provide hours of entertainment and antics to your home. She will not do best in a home with no job, and though she’s not suited to law enforcement work she will be a great sport partner. She was born June 2nd, 2020 and is up to date on all vaccines, she will be sold on a non breeding contract. She was raised with puppy culture protocols and a heavy emphasis on social neutrality while out and about. She is friendly with other dogs, curious, neutral with new people and will ignore them to work while with her handler. Hello Paws Here daycare clients! How about that weather?! I’ve gotten a few texts here so I just want to let everyone know that we are open for pick ups whenever you need. Lots of you want to get home before the roads get much worse, so let me know when you pull up and I’ll bring your dog out. ... On the other side of it, for those of you that will be later DON’T RUSH. I will be here until all the dogs go home so please just drive safe and get here when you get here, no matter the time. I’ll happily stay as long as you need if it means everyone gets home ok. Also, when you get here, please stay in your vehicles. The parking lot is a skating rink and if any one should wipe out, I assure you I bounce quite nicely. Drive safe, and see you when we see you!
