Dog training is fun for everyone!

Second session with sweet girl, Lacie. She was a puller on leash and now she’s getting very close to walking beside me, which is what her owners want. We started with the stop and go tactic with the loose leash, followed by the 180 degree turn, and lots of praise too. It won’t be long, Lacie will walk next to her owners with a loose leash, and she’ll be happy as can be!

Dog walks are not only good for your dog’s mental and physical health, it’s the perfect opportunity to bond with your dog, build trust, and practice keeping their attention on you, which is great for recall and training. Take your pup out at least once per day and use this time, not as an another chore to do, but as important time for you and your pup in your relationship. Plus who wants to be cooped up in a house day after day? Get out and enjoy the time with your pup! A happy pup is a good pup!

This is very good dog to dog play. Toby teases Oaken and encourages him to grab the stick. When Oaken misses (he’s a 7 month old puppy), Toby comes back to give a chance to grab it. Relaxed bodies, bouncy tails, relaxed ears. Just good old fun! A very gentle game between two boys.
