A different holiday season has come and gone and we are now starting out into 2021, hopefully a much brighter year than the one that just ended....

A warm Thursday arrived and had everyone enjoying the soft snow!! Today we welcomed Louka to her very first day!!

What a Friday!!! A bright sunny day , to end the week had everyone outside soaking it all up!!

CHEERS TO A NEW YEAR !! "May you reach your destination while travelling your own path to peace and happiness" In November Pawz decided to expand our outdoor Christmas lights to bring joy to our clients and our community. Shortly after, Pawz And Company was entered into the LIGHT UP LINDSAY contest. ... Yesterday afternoon, Pawz was honored to have been chosen as winner of the Business category. What a crazy Sunday and a wacky Monday!!! Mother nature provided quite the show over the past 24 hours. All the wind, rain and snow it didn't slow anyone down, let's call today "muddy" Monday!!!

As 2020 begins to wind down, all the guests are trying to squeeze as much fun as possible into 2020!!

As Christmas has passed and we get closer to the end of 2020, we get to witness the last full moon of the year!. A full moon meant a full day of fun for everyone!!

Contest Time!!!! With only 42 more sleeps left before Santa arrives, and a "new addition" to the Pawz family, we now need a name for our new "mascot". Put on your thinking caps and come up with a winning name!! ... Limit of one guess per person. Our "beginning to feel alot like Christmas" contest ends next Friday November 20th.

A sunny Thursday had everyone super excited to get out a play!! Today we also welcomed Max to his first visit to Pawz!

Today we pay tribute to the brave who served our Countries and to those who continue to serve our Countries. They are ordinary souls and courageous animals, who make extraordinary sacrifices. To those who sacrificed, to those who lost their lives, we will eternally be grateful for the freedom and peace you fought for. Soaking up the warm weather on a sunny Tuesday ....

It's only 4 more sleeps til Santa arrives!! Everyone getting all "dolled up" for the Jolly old fellow and also getting in as much play as possible!

Over the past few weeks, Deb has been recovering from surgery at home but today she decided to pop over to the retreat to say hi and of course get some puppy lovin!! She also had a chat with Cooper about the "name" of our newest Pawz mascot. After much deliberation Cooper has decided the name of our mascot will be "Polar".... Congrats Shirley, plesse stop by the retreat to pick up your prize!!

A frosty Wednesday meant jacket time!! As it gets colder, and your fur-baby doesn't have a winter coat, we do have a variety to chose from in our retail section!!!

Monday... A cool morning and then the snow started to blow in... As the more snow started to accumulate, the bigger the smiles got!!

As the day got water, the snow got greener??? No matter what, everyone had a blast, to close out the week!!

A mild Thursday started to melt away the snow that had everyone sooo excited!!! Everyone had a great time enjoying every bit of it before it stated beginning to disappear.

A brisk start to the week but the bright sunshine had everyone clamoring to get out and have an amazing start to the week!

As Sunday comes a close, just a quick recap of the Amazing time everyone had!!!, From enjoying the Christmas lights at night, to basking in the sun on a gorgeous day!!

It's Friday already? Today we welcomed Willow, Harper, Myla and Tessa for their very day at Pawz! Our day started with a little more snow, a little more rain that saw our snow slowly start to melt away!!! That made it a "slushy" way to end the week!!

It looked like Mr. Sunshine slept in today and left us with a cloudy grey day... But guess what!, Everyone could hardly wait to continue to play in the fluffy white powder!!

Holy Moly what a crazy 48 hrs!!! Guests arrive to lots of snow and its was still coming down upon arrival!! Then the sun came out, the jackets came off and everyone wanted to play in the fresh powder!!

What a way to start off the week!! A big storm blowing in today meant "playing in the rain"!!

Friday was a little foggy, a damp and a little drizzly... Didn't matter..... everyone wanted outside to play with their friends before mom and dad came to pick them up for a weekend break!!

Where did the snow go Thursday!! Surprise surprise, mother nature playing games again!! May have to get the lawnmower back out if this keeps up!! It appeared that "gettin" dirty was today's them!!!

Waking up to a Wednesday winter wonderland!! We were excited to welcome Hugo and Bindi to their very first visit!! We also had a big surprise as Deborah was able stop in for a short visit to say hi to everyone!!

What a way to wake up on a Monday morning!! A gorgeous blanket of snow had everyone excited to get out and play in the white stuff!!

This has been a tough and challenging year for all of us. Pawz has been no exception to this as we also continue to have challenges as well. Pawz continues to try and be resilient in overcoming difficulties even pivoting our business to add different services and increasing our retail presence. We are forever grateful to our clients and community partners who continue to be supportive of Pawz. We know that Christmas lights and decorations help brighten most of our days!!!... With that inind, we will be displaying more decorations and lights than we normally would in hopes that it puts a smile on your face. My hope is these lights will be a pathway to some happy feelings. We challenge all businesses in our community to put your lights and decorations up early in hopes of spiking the happiness back into our community. Team Pawz P.S. How can it be Friday already??? What a way to end the week.... So happy when we see guests returning for their second or third visit and have mom or dad tell how excited they get as they turn up the street!!!

Thursday arrived with sunshine and warmer weather... It left everyone chomping at the bit to get out and have a great time!! Today we also welcomed Ollie to his very first day with us!!!

A chilly morning let our guests dust off their winter jackets!! Fun was had by all and our newest guest Loki, was the life of the party!!

Monday rolled in and was an amazing day!! The bright sun and warm weather had all the tails and tongues wagging!! Monday also introduced Bailey to Pawz for his very first day!!

Friday finished of a fantastic week!! Today we welcomed Ozzy for his very first play day and we introduce Kwyn, a furry bundle of love!!

Thursday was another amazing day as the sun was out and the coats were put away! We also welcomed Winnie for her very first day as Pawz!!!

Monday started off Wild, Windy, Wet and wacky!!! What a great way to start of the week!!

With Halloween just around the corner , Friday meant it was time for a Howlo'ween Pawty for all our guests!!

Thursday was a grey day... but that didn't slow anyone down from having a fantastic day!!

Wednesday morning arrived and there was still snow on the ground!! Everyone wanted to get outside and get their first taste of winter, before it all melted away!! Not only did everyone get in a little snow play, we welcomed Bobby, Lexi and Mia !!!

Monday Monday!! Started out a little on the wet side, but a little mud never slowed anyone down!!

As the sun sets on another weekend and by the smiles on everyone's faces, our guests had an amazing time!

Friday arrived and so did the sunshine What a great way to end off our "wet and wild week"!!!

Riley, you came bounding through our doors at just 7 months old. An excitable loveable and oh so very cute puppy. The adventures we have had with you since August of 2019 were memories Team Pawz will not forget. Although you were shy and uncertain in the early days. With work, guidance and consistency through our daycare program and most recently our training program, you've blossomed into the beautiful confident girl that you are today!!!... You've made new friends, played with all your old friends and even became such a confident trusting dog that we often would choose you to help introduce new dogs that were coming into our daycare program. Your beautiful smile, your excitable dance, how can anyone not smile when you graced our day with your presence. While we are excited about the new adventures that await you in PEI, it is with sadness that we say goodbye. Your time with PAWZ has been marked with triumphs and you will always be remembered with the most loving thoughts. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to Mommy for entrusting Riley into our care since August 2019. It has been an amazing journey. Safe travels, happy trails ahead. You both will be dearly missed. Team Pawz.

The theme of the week seems to be "wet and wild" and Wednesday was no exception!!! Everyone had an amazing day, the wetter the better!!

It certainly wasn't a mundane Monday! A little damp and cool simply meant playing "extra hard" to avoid the rain drops!!!

Heartbreak is an unfortunate common part of the human experience. It hurts and I won't suger coat it. It actually "sucks". Odeyn passed away Thursday shortly after Thanksgiving, how surreal was that the precious dog who continually taught me to be thankful. Odeyn was diagnosed with inoperable cancer 2 months ago. This day had come all too soon. I told him how proud I was of the boy he blossomed into. I held him in my arms as he snuggled in my lap and drifted off into his fo...Continue reading

It's Friday already???? The short play week, and mother nature keeping things wet, meant nothing... A few extra towels to wash, but guess what? The sun broke through in the afternoon and you couldn't have asked for a better way to end the week!!

A soggy day meant a few extra towels as the party never stopped!!

Leaping lizards!!! Wednesday had everyone jumping for joy!!! There's gotta be something in the air during the fall season!!

Tuesday was a "turkey hangover"!!!

Life moves so quickly and alot of the time it may feel like we can barely keep up, especially during these very trying times. We still have the power within us to be grateful and thankful for something or someone in our lives. Be thankful this Thanksgiving Day. I wish to express my most heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you this Thanksgiving. To those who are setting an extraordinary example of commitment and solidarity. Friday was a slightly quieter day as we lead into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend Ekko took the opportunity to keep her birthday party going for another day

Thursday was so much fun!!! Lots of hijinks and we welcomed back Ziggy since recovery!

A wet, windy and wild Wednesday!!!! Everyone was so excited to hang out with their buddies and have as much fun as possible!

Tuesday started out cool, cloudy and a little wet. As the day went on, the sun came and the gang spent the afternoon soaking up the sun!!

Monday is the best way to start the week off!!! What made this Monday extra special was that we got to celebrate 3 birthdays today!!! This had everyone head over heels with excitement!!

A soggy end to the weekend... As per usual, nothing slowed the gang down. They heard that their good friend Ziggy is recovering from some foot surgery and wanted to wish him well and to keep "Pawz up" !!!

It's the first Friday in October???? The leaves are changing colors, and the smiles are getting wider!!

Thursday... Holy Moly!!! A mix bag of everything!! And the same with the weather !! A big hello to Gunner and Teeka!

Wednesday was a little chillier, a little damp, but the rain held off for most of the day!!! And when it was over, a gorgeous rainbow appeared , capping off a funtastic day!!

Tuesday was a little cooler and cloudy , but it never stopped everyone for having a great day

A fantastic weekend turned into a marvelous Monday!! All our guests want every Monday to be just like this one!!
