An important step forward for Ontario amputees: An Ontario amputee (and PBO Group client!) has received OHIP approval to have his OI surgery done in Quebec instead of Australia! It took almost three years, two HSARB decisions and lots of behind-the-scenes work to iron out the preferred provider arrangement details with OHIP, but the surgery has been scheduled for February 25th in Montreal.
