Congratulations to Heather Taskey for receiving one of this year's Chief Justice Wagner Awards In 2020, with the support of the Right Honourable Richard Wagner, Chief Justice of Canada, PBSC launched the Chief Justice Richard Wagner Awards to recognize our outstanding student volunteers across the country. The awards recognize one volunteer from each participating law school Chapter who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to PBSC’s mission of providing free legal support to people and communities facing barriers to justice. We are so lucky to have Heather on our Not In My City Project to fight against human trafficking. Keep shining brightly, Heather!

PBSC has entered into a formal three-year partnership with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP ( @Blakes ) for the support of our Trans ID Clinic in three locations, including the Calgary Trans ID Clinic We could not be more pleased with our partnership up until this point, and we are so excited to be able to collaborate for years to come We would not be able to continue this project without Blakes' funding and without SkippingStones as our community partner. Thank-you for everything
