Spaghetti is such a great comfort food & a huge favourite in our home. My husband & I have been trying to eat healthier & less over the past few months & although pasta isn't the most healthy dish, it can still be eaten as part of a balanced diet, & let's not forget that it is delicious! One of the important parts of spaghetti is the sauce. One has to have an incredibly delicious sauce Even better if you can batch cook it & freeze it in portions for later This sauce is am...azing & jam-packed full of veggies! Oh how I love fries, whether you call them french fries, fries or chips, they are so delicious! They are, however, not always that good for you! The amount of oil that they are fried in does not help your health in any way. What a good job that there are healthier ways to make fries that do not involve frying in oil. Have you been introduced to the wonders of air frying? Before frying potatoes, rinse them in cold water to remove the starch, this helps the potatoes to not st...ick together during the frying process. For crispier potatoes, soak the potatoes in salt water for several minutes before cooking. When air frying you use very little oil, allowing them to be lots healthier. My newest healthy breakfast! I have been eating oatmeal each day, but really have not enjoyed it. My way of thinking is, if I am not enjoying something, then it is not sustainable. This morning, I decided to try something new, & I love it. Very delicious packed with veggies & one egg make it nutritious as well as delicious. You can really add whatever veggies you want in this dish plus you can add things like a slice of bacon or chicken sausage to change it up. In this I ...added peppers, onion & spinach. Did you know that spinach is a superfood? It is loaded with tons of nutrients in a low-calorie package.
