Hello hello, how have you been? The weather has been gorgeous, Covid-19 cases have been decreasing, and all of us as a community contribute to this. There are many things that make us feel blessed and thankful for everyday. We hope that everyone is doing great and staying healthy! Below is an invite to all beavers and their friends out there. Scouters, please kindly pass this along and encourage your beavers to join. This is an amazing opportunity for youth to connect with ...other friends from all over BC and Yukon! :) Here is the camp website, where you can find more details as well as program schedule: www.camplogjam.com Let us know if you have questions!

Dear Scouters, First, let me introduce myself, name is Heather Eskritt and I am a Rover Scout in British Columbia as well as a member of the new National Leadership Team. I am so excited to be in my new role and meet and work with wonderful Scouters across the country. One of the first items I am working on in this role is meaningful recognition for our volunteers who have gone above and beyond to engage youth in recent months. Which is why I am reaching out to you today to a...sk for submissions for the Virtual Scouting Oscars, where we will showcase our amazing volunteers. As we launch into an Autumn full of more outdoor & virtual Scouting, I believe it is important to recognize the incredible work that our volunteers have been doing, and to share ideas and inspire other volunteers to do the same. To nominate a Scouter please e-mail me directly ( [email protected] ) by October 15th and include the following: The Scouter’s name Scouter’s group and Council A description of the program that the Scouter ran and what made it special Any photos Anything else you’d like to add! If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Additionally, please pass this email along to anyone who might have a submission. Thanks so much, Heather Eskritt
