Last night, after 9 years and 99 days on the Ontario PC Party Executive, I informed my colleagues that yesterday would be my last day. This has been one of the greatest adventures of my life. I owe a very special place in my heart to the supporters who have stood with me through 4 elections, 3 Leaders (5 including interim) and multiple roles (Technology, Membership, Communications, Organization, Chief Returning Officer on 2014-15 LEOC and Policy Chair)... I look forward to continuing my involvement in the Ontario PC Party supporting grassroots policy development and member-led riding associations. I also look forward to winning the next election and forming a conservative majority government. I am proud of the policy process to date and to ensure as little disruption as possible, I will work collaboratively with the party on any transition requirements. Finally, I want to thank my wife Courtney. We started dating exactly one month before my election in February 2008 and she has tolerated my passion and many days away ever since. I am really looking forward to spending more time with her and our two beautiful daughters, having their laughter and smiles in my life will make this change a lot easier. Thank you

It was an exciting weekend. I am honoured to have been chosen as the Ontario PC Party 3rd Vice-President and Policy Chair. I want to start by thanking those who supported and helped me through the long nights and early mornings of the weekend and during the four month campaign as I travelled across Ontario. Special recognition is owed to my endorsers and my campaign team who I will be reaching out to personally over the coming days. I would also be remiss if I didn't pay trib...ute to Stephanie Marentette, we may not always see eye-to-eye on things but as I have said to her before and it most certainly remains true today, she is a strong asset to this party and I hope to be able to work with her going forward. I am excited to be a part of the incoming executive, working alongside Rick Dykstra and the strong team we have to help prepare and win the election in 2018. We can never take our eyes off the ultimate goal of electing Patrick Brown in 2018 and I am excited to be working alongside passionate people who share this belief.
