*** Important News from Jonathan *** As of June 1, 2017, Justin Burns will be taking over as the new proud owner of PC Rescue. As many of you are aware, I travel far and wide to service commercial obligations and contracts I have established over the last 10 years.... Over the past 6 months I was not able to fully operate the physical shop to the best of its potential. Working 22 hours on 4 hours of sleep was starting to become a pattern that was too frequent. This was not good for me or others around me. I was at a crossroads and had made the decision to close the shop by today and end my residential service offerings. I was glad I was able to establish this transition as I have always cared deeply for my customers and take immense pride in the level of service I provide. I did not want to leave anyone abandoned. If I did not have confidence in Justin, I would not be allowing this transition. I will continue to be available to all who need me. You will probably still catch me at the shop from time to time. A new call-attendant will allow my business customers to reach me and residential customers may reach Justin at the shop. (option 1, 2, etc) If available, I will still be glad to provide daytime residential onsite service to established clients. Other than that, it's business as usual. Stop in and meet Justin at 1716 Rothesay Road! Great Service, Great Technicians, Great Location! With all my heart, Thank You! - Jonathan Gallant

A sad situation but a real one. I have debated about just travelling with a "fresh" phone with nothing on it and adding the accounts once at my destination. Sadly, that would also appear suspicious. https://openmedia.org//no-traveller-safe-how-safeguard-you

This was a fun (and staggering) exercise. Here is a brief overview of all the sites I have physically visited to perform computer & network services. The "PC Rescue Mobile" is at 229,000 KM in less than 6 years. https://www.mapcustomizer.com//PC%20Rescue%20Locations%20S

I love this comic. It shows you the math behind better passwords. Its not about complexity, its about length. https://xkcd.com/936/

This is why I have no shame still owning a BlackBerry (Z30). I will admit it took them too long to work out some bugs that drove me nuts but I have tried other devices. My Z30 has proven to be the more effective Phone & Email device. https://motherboard.vice.com//samsung-tizen-operating-syst
