I have never seen a plate and presser foot worked out as much as this..she is a pretty solid machine otherwise..

This presser foot is from a machine barely 2 years old. This is what happens to the foot, when running the machine with no fabric between the foot and feed dog.. Feed dogs or feeders are made of hard metals and will damage the foot.

On the deck this morning, Singer 99k, production schedule of November 25, 1927. Knee bar activated. I am undecided whether to rewire this elegant lady or to change her to a handcrank. What do you think?

Had the honor of servicing and rewiring this lovely Singer 201K for a 95 year old customer. Manfacture run date, Feb 9 1953, in Kilbowie, Scotland. I may add that 1953, produced some fine things!!
