Adam Albert Cooper, beloved only child of Ruth & Greg Cooper, adored husband of Sonya, died suddenly on Friday September 4 at the age of 29. Born in Barrie, Adam spent his childhood growing up in the village of Thornton, before heading to Toronto five years ago to experience city life. He was a student at Cookstown Central Public School, Bear Creek Secondary School and Georgian College. Adam loved to read, and could often be found in his room with a book, rather than watching... TV. He had a love of history, military and photography. He was a member of Scouts Canada and found his love of nature, fishing, camping and canoeing through scouting. His humour and generous spirit will be missed by my friends and family. A family remembrance will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to Youth Haven (Barrie) or David Busby Centre (Barrie), or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Condolences may be left for the family at www.peacefultransition.ca See more

With a heavy heart the family of Jeffrey Arnold Dees, 50, announces the news of his sudden passing. After a serious accident, while riding his e bike, he was rushed to the ICU at Royal Victoria Hospital and put on life support. Because he was without a pulse for a significant length of time, there was no brain function. Though numerous tests were done to revive him, we were informed that he would not have any quality of life. The difficult decision was made to let him go. On ...Sept. 9, after first donating his organs, he was set free. Jeff was a happy, caring, out-going man. He loved his family and had many good friendships. He loved sports, music, and learning. He was a hard worker and took pride in a job well done. Jeff was in his element when he was "cheffin it up" for his family or friends. That was one of the ways he showed his love. He was kind and generous and had a great sense of humour. His smile and his laugh are unforgettable. Jeff will be sadly missed by his daughter, Jaxon, his parents, Mary-Jo and Tom Brown, his younger siblings, Tiffany (Gabriel) and her 3 sons; Summer and her 2 children; Brady(Lesley) and their 2 children and his big brother (uncle) Arn and his children. He'll be lovingly remembered by his Aunts Neat and Carla and their families, extended family members and his many friends. There will be a service held at Heritage Baptist Church on Saturday, September 12 to commemorate his life. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm and service begins at 2 pm. The service will also be live streamed at 2 pm on www.hbcbarrie.com Jeffrey Arnold Dees June 15, 1970 - September 9, 2020. You're at peace, my beautiful boy. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the GoFundMe called In Memory of Jeff Dees. Condolences may be left for the family at www.peacefultransition.ca
