It was on this day in 2014 that @londonheatcheer came to the park. Although they were afraid to get dirty at first, we sent them home with plastic bags to sit on in their parent’ cars They gave our #lowropes team a run for their money as we had no clue they would quite happily and easily climb on top of each other. #chuckthechicken

A touching tribute to Trooper Mark Wilson. As mentioned before we have a cabin built in honour of him. Don’t let our tribute to him be torn down.

IODE Ontario raised the funds to donate to Peacekeeper Park for our cabin named Gunner. As the IODE is a national woman’s charitable organization, This cabin was named in honour of Captain Nichola Goddard. It is also in recognition of all female service members. While serving with the Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry in Afghanistan, died in a military operation against Taliban forces. 17 May 2006... Like the IODE, Nicola’s memory lives on supporting strong female leaders. Is this a message you want to end Kettle Creek Conservation Authority

Our Abseil Tower is known as Brent’s Tower. It is named in honour of Corporal Brent Poland. Cpl. Brent Donald Poland died on April 8, 2007 with five other soldiers when their LAV III armoured vehicle drove over a large roadside bomb likely laid by the Taliban. Certified yearly, our tower is an other thing that makes Peacekeeper Park so unique. It is such a confidence booster for all those who take the step. Kids and adults alike. ... The Malahide Firefighter's Association train on our tower. On the back side we have a rock wall. Don’t let Cpl. Brent Poland’s memorial stand silent. Most weekends in the spring and fall you will find Cadets Canada Air Cadet League of Canada - Ontario Provincial Committee taking over the park. We have 3 private Bush camping sites.
