Well other than the white House needing cleaned out - what in your world needs a little touch up? Here are some tips 1. Decide what area or project you want to work on 2. Decide on a reasonable time line to finish the project by - or even to start it by 3. Write down the steps that need to be completed to complete the project ie. - clean out my closet... a. Take all clothes out of closet b. Look at each item individually and decide whether to keep, sell or donate and create piles c. Return keep to closet d. Take donate to Thrift store e. Post items online or drop off at consignment store and decide what date you will donate them if they do not sell By writing it all down with a timeline you will find you will be more committed to it. f. Give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy your new space See more

I am now available to organize and run online meetings and events - send me a pm if you are in need of a kind, organized person to help your non-profit or small business get through these strange times and continue to have connection and be organized. I am working on online Christmas gatherings right now.
The organization tip I wish everyone knew is to keep a bag or bin in their house to put unwanted items in. Once it is full take it in for donation. If you have one of these around you are more apt to make decisions on an ongoing basis rather than when you decide to "organize".
As much as we may not want it to, fall is approaching, and we have to admit that summer is coming to an end. Out come the fall sweaters and winter coats that have been stored away. To make room for these bulky items, say goodbye to summer clothes for awhile. 1. Take everything out of your closet and clean the closet. 2. Get rid of unused garments. Those pieces you haven't worn all season probably won't get worn next year either. They aren't worth the space of storing them. ... Set aside the items you plan to donate or sell. 3. Pack away the summer items into whatever storage you use, extra closet, under the bed storage, a chest, whatever works for you. 4. Put you fall and winter clothes into the closet and while you do make sure to see if it is something you still want and fit, before putting it your closet - ta da - you are ready for the season.
