Peace of Mind Plumbing

Over the years customers have asked why plumbing is expensive in general, more so than some other trades so I thought I'd write a quick post to explain how our industry works. First, unlike most business we deal with water that can cause huge damage to a home or commercial property and while we haven't an insurance claim we still get hit with the inflation of insurance premiums much like anybody that had their strata insurance go up this year. Cost of doing business in the GV...A isn't as cheap as it once was and although we've kept our prices as low as possible for as long as possible it's just not as cheap to do business as it once was. Even our suppliers as much as I dislike it raise our prices 3 times a year, in some cases some product cost increases are 10 to 20% per year overall. To that end though every consumer has the ability to use whoever they want even plumbers or "want to be plumbers" from Craigslist. A word of caution though; just like you wouldn't take your Ferrari to a Honda dealer you shouldn't do the same thing with your most prized possession which is your house. CL plumbers don't carry 5 million in liability insurance, aren't bonded and usually aren't licensed either as a plumber or gas fitter. Would you really trust someone working on your home that was a plumber in training? If he/she floods your home they have the ability to walk away without even looking back and leaving you with the insurance claim that your insurance may or may not pay for as you used an unlicensed plumber. Lastly, and I've added pictures below of our work. I've also added a cartoon. Yes we can do any job cheaper but we won't. We have a 5 star rating, repeat customers and an amazing reputation because we don't compromise our level of work. I know I'm not always the easiest person to deal with however I'm looking after your best interests in the end and giving you the best service possible.
