Recently visited the New Brunswick Archives and discovered the history of our Property that houses our Offices at 749 Charlotte Street. Originally built in 1886, this Property was the home of Havelock Coy. He worked as a Registrar at the University of New Brunswick and became an Attorney later in life. The second owner of the Property was Charles Dow Richards. He was a Judge and Politician. In 1931 he became Premier of New Brunswick for a period of two years. He then became ...Chief Justice to the Supreme Court of New Brunswick. He is remembered for being a scholarly Lawyer and a distinguished Judge. It then became a Unitarian Fellowship in 1969. Many know this Property as a Daycare before it was converted into apartments. Peachmount Properties purchased this Property in 2013.
