My name is Robyn Huggett and I’ve been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist for over a decade in the Durham area. Living a heathy lifestyle is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally and personally. Growing up playing sports and camping with my family, I recognized the value of being active and embracing nature. That later guided me to alternative medicine and massage therapy. I love what I do and that translates to the care I provide. My practice welcomes a wide variety of patients, from athletes, pregnant women to children with disabilities. I carefully catere each massage to the individual and the overall goals of the treatment. Getting to the root of the problem and treating the cause rather than the symptom is what I strive to do with my patients. Over the years I have learned how to balance therapeutic treatment techniques with relaxation, allowing for the important work to be done and still enjoying the soothing effects of massage therapy. My experience and knowledge will provide you with the comfort and care your body and soul needs. I have an advanced diploma in massage therapy from Centennial College and am also trained in kinesiology taping. Being a very active person allows me to provide consistent, quality care. Encouraging patients to take responsibility for their health and provide them with the appropriate tools to do so is an important aspect to my practice. When I’m not at the clinic you can find me working out and getting after it, hiking with my dog, reading military books and embracing the elements with extreme sports or just sitting in the woods enjoying the peace and quiet. Life is all about balance.

From the Owner: Peak is headed towards our 10th Anniversary of serving the Brooklin Community this September and I could not be happier to finally open our doors, again! The past few months have been hard in different ways for different people. Months have felt like years. As a mom and business owner, the worry over what had been lost and my concerns about the lasting impact on my family and my business was, at times, almost too much to bare. There were late nights, a few glasses of wine, the odd tear, too many chips and a lot of running. At Peak, we have had to adapt our business in order to provide the same level of care, and our team has seen a lot of change. We have had to make decisions quickly, and a lot of things happened in a very short period of time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we navigate such a different climate. I am proud that Peak could survive a test of this magnitude and I am impressed by the team that has emerged. In my reflection, it is so important to point out that our survival hinged on having an incredible team behind the scenes and was grounded by the steadfast support of our patients and our community.
