Today, we wanted to provide you with an update, as we have been working towards getting our office equipped to handle emergent dental care. As of this morning, Dr. Rutwind & Dr. Virani have officially acquired the necessary equipment and certifications to treat true dental emergencies at Peak Marine Drive. We are doing this strictly to help support our community and healthcare colleagues that are tirelessly working at hospitals during the pandemic. If we can help reduce the a...mount of dental emergencies being seen at the hospitals at this time, we feel like we are doing our part. We also wanted to let you know, that even though our doors are closed to the public and to elective dental care, we are available for you via text or call at 604.770.2222. @drvirani Proportions, proportions, proportions! . One of my favorite cases from 2018. This patient started with 4 existing veneers from lateral to lateral and was also born with congenitally missing canine's. To compensate for this, we morphed her 1st premolars to look like canines, bringing back the dominance that should be present in the corners of a beautiful smile. These subtle changes in axial inclination, as well as broadening the buccal corridor created a fuller, br...ighter, and more pleasing smile. We also toned down the central dominance created by her previous dentist by making her two front teeth more slender.
