I have to say this is my most favourite addition to our bar line. I took mechanical engineering at the @rmccanadacmr. A flow wrapper is something special. I love seeing the bars drive into the sealer. So many moving parts but special.

This part used to take a long time before; by hand w a long bread knife. My wrist is definitely a fan!!

Step 3 in the PeakBAR process. We are really excited to have this roller press to make the process easier. Before this would have been done by hand for 25 bars. Now the roller presses 85 bar trays.

Here’s some of the backstory on how PeakEats got started. Thanks Todd for the interview. We finally had the time to connect!

I know we have a small PeakBAR following @spiralivy @skilouise. Until now it would take @vjfleetwood and me 4h to make 200 of these. In my now unemployed state (no guiding w all of our parks closed), I cleaned and assembled our new machines including this flow wrapper. At its slowest speed it wraps 40 bars a minute. We had these bags printed in the fall by @tricorbraunflex but didn’t have time to get through the design phase of the new labels required for retail sales until today! One of the benefits of being unemployed is being able to work on all those checklists that have accumulated over years. Here are our first four dinners ready for retail.
