Happy holidays everyone! Here's a few images of the festive season with Kinghaven Peardonville House Society!

All the mighty world of eye, and ear, both what they half create and what they perceive. - William Wordsworth On a morning television show there was a segment on pets. People brought their favourite pets. One pet was a hairless cat - curious to be sure, but by most standards not beautiful. The host cautiously asked, "But isn't it ugly?" The somewhat offended pet owner remarked, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!". Perception is largely what forms our lives. Life truly is... created by not only what we see and feel, but also how we see and feel. What is a catastrophic failure to one, is an opportunity to learn to another. What is perceived as God picking on them to some people, is God assisting them to be strong to others. What is a failed childhood to one person, is a college of survival skills to another - where all graduates have Ph.D.'s. It is not what happens or happened to us that matters, but how we view those happenings. I am responsible for my own perceptions of the world.
