Helloooo there! My name is Pearl (and this is my cat Stitch ). I'm the creator behind this page and I want to share something really exciting with you all... As of JAN 1ST I am now officially a certified nail tech! Back story: I started doing my own nails when I was 13yrs old with nail polish and slowly over time I transitioned to gel polish. It wasn't until a fateful tear in my nail right before a dance performance that changed my life. I ran into @Tantalizingtalons at my... friend's salon and happen to show her my thumbnail. She said she could fix it for me and I sat there amazed as she had repaired it with some fiberglass and hard gel in no time. After that I became her client and watched closely everytime she worked on my nails, and would ask lots of questions. I watched with fascinated eyes while she'd created the most amazing art right in front of me. It wasn't long before I started to show an interest in doing the work myself and she was kind enough to set me up with some product and off I went! It was a steep learning curve but it was so much fun that I didn't mind. It took over 6yrs of compliments from strangers and offers from friends to do their nails before I even considered it as a career. And then it took me losing my job to a pandemic before I finally jumped at an opportunity to get certified. And BOY am I glad I jumped! The saying is true....
