Well, it is not soccer, and it is not golf. Sometimes we just make up our own sport.

We took our Pebbles artists down to the beach to practice their painting skills outdoors.

The children had fun being outside and racing each other while passing a ball from spoon to spoon.

Pebbles reopened this week and with the nice weather. We have taken advantage of our location close to the beach.

Pebbles will be reopen tomorrow but only for childcare services. For our drop-in service, we will remain close until it is safe to reopen. We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

With an abundance of caution regarding the Corona Virus, we have decided to close Pebbles Drop-In service from now until April 4th, 2020. For clients who have purchased our monthly pass, we will extend the pass for three weeks. We will continue to provide childcare services, but we will monitor who enters Pebbles temperature. Hand sanitizer is provided.

We are proud that Order of Canada recipient and esteemed childrens writer Robert Munsch dropped in Pebbles to help celebrate his granddaughters birthday. It was truly an honour to have him visit.

The hungry alphabet caterpillar loves to eat letters, but you have to get the letter right before you can feed him. Yum yum, crunch crunch, mmmm......letters.

It says, Babies will be entertained while developing motor skills. The wall mounted acrylic mirror will excite babies as they learn to pull up and eventually balance on the maple rail. This little Pebble was excited to see himself as he learned to pull himself up and practice his standing. He liked it enough that he stayed at this activity for over 15 minutes.

At Pebbles, we make sure that our Pebbles kids get out and experience nature, no matter what time of year.

P is for Pebbles. We teach our Pebbles kids to recognize and remember their alphabet even though the form, format and colour can be different.

When you are 16 months old, using an eye dropper is a fun challenge As educators we know it is a great way to develop fine motor skills and eye hand coordination. Either way it is a positive thing to do.

This Friday, December 20th, please join us for our Holiday Celebration between 10am and noon. We will have dancing, limbo and more.

Its fun to make bracelets out of cereal but the material makes a nice snack too!

We were lucky enough to have a special guest visit us at Pebbles and lead us in song. She even let everyone see her ukulele. A big thank you to our friend and music leader.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for our Halloween Dance Party. A great time was had by all. The little ones were really shaking it up.

Our Annual Halloween Dance Party takes place this Thursday during our regular drop in hours. Let your little ghouls and goblins shake to the music. Costumes are not mandatory.

We did a science experiment at Pebbles. The children were so excited to create bubbles that they squeezed out every drop of vinegar on to the baking soda.
