The International Peace Awards is the initiative of the Gandhian Initiative for Development of Support Services (GIDSS) that has been w...orking to promote peace and multiculturalism in the world. He awards provide a critical spotlight for the service of thousands of non-profit organizations in Canada and beyond that work tirelessly to improve living conditions and quality of life for millions of people worldwide. Attached is a picture from the awards night. Ray Applebaum, CEO Peel Senior Link is pictured with the award alongside Baldev Mutta, CEO Punjabi Community Health Services, whose organization won the Mental Health Category. We are so proud of our PSL team for making this award possible!

Tiziana Pelusi and Swapnil Rege presented at the First National Integrated Care Summit in Toronto. Their presentation titled "Integrating community pharmacy strategies to improve community care medication management" focused on the critical role PSW's can play in reducing medication errors for frail and complex seniors in the community. This can only be possible with a collaborative and comprehensive medication management program. Peel Senior Link is proud to partner with Resident Care Pharmacy to deliver this Health Standards Ontario Leading Practice.
