Congratulations to Crispin on winning the World Archery Lockdown recurve tournament. Crispin is one of the volunteers preparing the club for reopening, many thanks for helping get the club ready for members.

An update for everyone, the club is planning on a limited reopening to members on June 29. A new set of rules will be emailed out to the members, if you are not on the newsletter mailing list please let me or any board member know.

Where am I supposed to practice now??? In compliance with the state of emergency declaration, Peel Archery Club will be closed until further notice. But don't be discouraged! It's Finally here: Target League Final Night, Where Champions are made! Sign up Now: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/peel-archery-target-league-nigh... Format: 300 FITA Round at 18m with 40cm targets (3 spot or full). We will start warming up at 7pm and scoring at 7:30. After the round, archers will shoot in a head-to-head match elimination format. Usually we are all wrapped up by 10:30 or so. The league night event is for fun and all archers are encouraged to sign up. If you're not a member of the club, but would like to come to the league night, please reach out to the organizer before signing up.

Peel Archery Club is pleased to announce we are now offering non-introductory Recurve Archery Lessons. If you're looking to improve your form, and bring your recurve skills to the next level, check out our offerings at Peelarchery.ca/lessons first class begins March 21st, with more being added as demand and availability allows. Class size is very limited, sign up today! Open to members and non-members, and equipment can be provided if necessary.

Peel Archery Target Tournament, March 14 Get a head start on the outdoor season at the Peel Archery Club with an indoor 720 round AND single elimination matches at outdoor distances. The 720 round scores 72 arrow at 70m or 50m, depending on the archer’s division, followed by head to head matches in single elimination format in the following categories: Recurve men, Recurve women, Compound, Barebow. Cash Prizes for winners in all divisions with more than 8 participants!

This weekend the club is hosting a training camp with the National Development Squad. The range will be EXTREMELY busy from 9am-6pm Saturday and Sunday, with all 70m lanes in use We recommend archers find alternate times to shoot if possible.
