Happy World Kindness Day! Intentional acts of kindness bring a smile to another's face and shows that you care. Little things can have a big impact on someone who may be having a not-so-great day Let that person go ahead of you in line. Treat a friend or a stranger to a cup of coffee. Give a co- worker a compliment. Reach out to a family member or text a friend.... Offer to help someone who seems to be struggling... Aim to make kindness part of your daily routine and pledge to make someone smile every day! #worldkindnessday #kindness #bekind #hopebrant #peersupport #hope #wecare

November 21st is International Survivors of Suicide Day International Day for People Impacted by Suicide Loss November 21, 2020 is International Day for People... Impacted by Suicide Loss (also known as International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day/ Survivor’s Day in the United States). This day marks the one day a year when people impacted by suicide loss, no matter where they live, can come together as communities to find and offer comfort and to remember their loved ones as they share stories of loss, healing and hope. To commemorate this day, CASP will be hosting a virtual event starting at 1:00pm EST. All are welcome to attend. The event will involve a video screening of testimonials exploring the ‘loss journey’ of four individuals who have lost someone to suicide, taking them from the initial period of their loss up to the present day. This video will be followed by presentations and Q/A sessions with two community members who will discuss and reflect on their personal ‘loss journey’.
