During winter months and virtual school it can be really challenging as we tend to become more sedentary. Moving our bodies, getting our blood flowing, working our muscles, increasing our heart rate, and challenging our minds in a creative way make all the difference! How much movement is happening in your household right now? If you have questions about our programs please reach out. We are here to help.

Pegasus truly becomes our students second home and we are missing each and every one of you just as much as you may be missing us! When a Pegasus team member arrived at the studio last week she was greeted by this beautiful message and art. What a gift to share in such a loving and supportive community. We can't wait until we can be together in person again! Until then we will continue to support you through our online classes as we create, explore and move freely.

#bellletstalkday is important for all of us at Pegasus Dance Studios. We teach more than dance and we value the importance of each child, each student to feel seen, heard and valued. Dance and all forms of Artistic expression is an amazing way of teaching our children ways of expressing themselves, understanding and releasing their emotions. Pegasus has for many current and past students become their Third space, a safe place to come and express themselves through moveme...nt - non-verbal communication, to feel seen, heard and connected. Now more than ever, please join the conversation and help end the stigma around mental health. As we are blessed to be able to continue our classes virtually we are also focused on building connections and community. Dance has been proven to be good for our hearts, our bodies our brains and our overall health, even when we meet on zoom. But we also want you to know that each time a child shows up for class, even if it does not appear that they are fully engaged, we are able to make important connections, that will matter not only at the moment but in the future. If your child is struggling, if you need support, please reach out. We are here for you and your child's emotional health as well as their physical well being. We are a village, no one needs to do this alone. Jane
