Good morning Members UPDATE!! For services that requires the removal of your guest’s mask. This is from the Dept of Health and Wellness Hi Sherri,... The guidance is being updated today. It is stated in the updated Public Health Order that masks are required in a personal service facility at all times by operator and client. Services which require the removal of a face mask are to be suspended until advised otherwise by the Chief Public Health Office. If you have further questions or concerns please contact me anytime. Once the guidance document is approved and goes live on the website I will forward to you. We will keep you posted with any changes Your Council
Good Evening Members As many of you were probably glued to the Covid-19 update this afternoon and holding your breath and praying that we will remain open. You are not the only one. We will be able to continue to operate by APPOINTMENT ONLY and to operate with all our protocols in place. You and your guest MUST wear a mask and for those who can not due to medical reasons MUST wear a full face shield no exceptions. All sanitation protocols are to be in place with extra cleani...ng in areas most used. Please arrange your breaks at different times than your teammates and use social distancing at all times. Enhance proper hand washing and have hand sanitizer throughout your space, especially when entering and exiting. Tracing all clients is a MUST with proper numbers to be contacted if needed. Remove all magazines or books etc and keep everything simple. If you can encourage your clients to preorder Xmas gifts or gift cards prior to picking them up so you can limit the amount of guests coming and going at once, which may lead to errors. Don’t panic, if we continue to do what we need to do inside the workplace, and outside as per Dr. Morrison recommendations to contain this outbreak, we will be doing our part to keep yourself, family, teammates, and all Islanders safe. Please reach out if you know anyone who does not follow these protocols as we will direct it to CPHO to follow up if need be. We need to keep vigilant to be able to stay open so let’s do this together!! Stay Strong... Stay Safe Your Council
