When you are getting ready to sell take care of the small stuff, sure to you it is one or two things in each room but to the buyer it is a whole house that needs work. - Change any light switch or plug covers that are full of paint or have disclored over the years - If a blind is broken, replace it or even just take it down. - Make sure all the lights have working light bulbs. - cleaning, declutering and painting are the easest and cheepest way to give your house a fresh look.
