Hey folks - we have received an extension for the Oyster Enhancement Fund (OEF) applications. We will be able to accept applications until October 9 at midnight. The OEF is intended to purchase choice grade, cocktail-sized (23 inches) and/or market-sized (3+ inch) oysters from PEI off-bottom oyster growers. These will be used to enhance commercially fished oyster beds, as well as improve spat collection and water quality in strategic areas in PEI.
