Have you seen this beautiful piece from Jim Aquilani? "Created using sterling silver, copper, brass and bronze. The components have been hand forged and formed and soldered together. Once that was completed the components were soldered to a backing piece complete with bale. The bale for the necklace is a half circle to match the front." ... Today is the last day to drop of craft pieces for jury at the Crafts Council. A juried member can consign pieces at our retail gallery, take part in our Christmas Craft Fair, enjoy free workshops and special rates for courses, take part in our exhibits, use our logo on your website and social media and so much more...office open today 10-5.

We are so happy to have collaborated with the Confederation Centre Art Gallery to bring you this beautiful fine craft show that includes 11 PEI makers. Here is a preview of some of the pieces but we highly recommend you go over to the Centre and see these amazing pieces in person.

A Sashiko (Japanese embroidery) workshop at the Crafts Council was planned for May but due to restrictions we had to postpone...so we had it this past weekend. Kate Ward came over from Truro and instructed a wonderful workshop. Planning on bringing Kate back next summer so stay tuned.
Last night we had our first in person board meeting since February... certainly looks different but was great to see everyone again and have a good discussion ..

Meet the Makers is a casual, drop-in presentation series at the Confederation Centre, centring on the new exhibitionCreative Obsessions. For one afternoon two artistswill occupy the gallery to speak with visitors about the creative processes behind their works in the exhibition. Drop in between 12-3pm on September 17th to enjoy hearing from Jim Aquilani and Ayelet Stewart!
