Its Team Tuesday, and this week, it's all about our colleague Heather R. What brought you to peloton? Like all good things, through a friend’s referral! She lived in Boston and invited me to stay with her for a few days. Because we have the same shoe size, I gave hers a try, and one 45 min 80’s rock ride with Jenn Sherman later, it sealed the deal. I was in the Yorkdale showroom 2 days later insistent on getting my own, and now, almost 3 years later, I’m working for Pel...oton! Who is your favourite instructor and why? That’s a tough one. I have many, so my mood will dictate who I ride with. Ally Love is super inspirational and that smile is so warm and welcoming, but don’t let it fool you, she’ll work you hard! I adore Cody Rigbsy for his fun and flirty humour. His jokes and banter really make the ride fly by and he’s just so funny, not to mention he’s easy on the eyes Jenn Sherman was my first experience on the Peloton. Her classes are challenging, and I love that she’s a mom like me. She will work you hard, but has a heart of gold. Fun fact: She was also the very first instructor at Peloton! I’ve had the chance to ride in the NYC studio a couple of times in 2019. I had a chance to ride with these instructors live in the studio, and it was a highlight of my year for sure! I celebrated my Century ride (100th ride) with 3 good friends who travelled in with me. Some amazing memories made! Onto the next 100 rides! Your leaderboard name? HeatherPeloton Outside of work, where can we find you? Walking two adorable Labrador Retrievers or parenting three boys. I love exploring new culinary experiences, new restaurants and baking - all three are reasons I’m thankful to have the Peloton to counteract my habits! Favourite travel destination so far? Definitely Switzerland. I often say that if I go missing, that’s where you should look! The mountains, the rolling hills, the cheese, the chocolate, the fondue, the culture! I’m fluent in French, but I also speak Spanish and can get by in Italian. That makes travelling through Europe super fun! Favourite comfort food? My son just introduced me to the Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich, and that’s a dangerous thing! I’m definitely sweet over salty, and have never met a lava cake I didn’t love.

Are you as excited as we are? 33 days and counting! We know how highly anticipated the release of our Peloton Tread has been, and we share in that excitement right along with you!... Along with the Tread will come some brand new accessory bundles sure to elevate your Tread and Tread Bootcamp workouts to the next level. It's Thankful Thursday, and on this last day of 2020, we wanted to give thanks to you, our Yorkdale community members!
