Did Goderich to Blyth and back today, 54km according to Strava. Literally took the plunge on the Maitland River crossing. A bit deeper than I thought but not ba...d. Good footwear is a must. You can wheel your bike, but watch out near the middle where the current is a bit stronger. If youre younger than me (Im 70) youll likely be able to shoulder your ride. See more

Completing the #Monkton to #Walton section of the G2G Rail Trail yesterday means Ive cycled the entire length of the 131+km Guelph to Goderich Rail Trail in th...e last few weeks. A goal I set for myself & have now accomplished! And yesterday I ran in to family and friends along the way. A nice surprise! Did a nice ride from Blyth eastwards today. 30km there and back. Beautifully groomed section of trail through delightful countryside. Many thanks to those involved in the upgrade.

A two piece womans ball gown (French, c. 1880-1890) by Charles Frederick Worth. The sleeveless bodice is a Persian melon color ground with large yellow and gre...en peonies features back lace fasten, V-neckline with yellow tulle and bead decoration, and very pointed stomacher, curved for bustle. The square trained ball gown skirt is a Persian melon color ground with peony motif. The weight skirt has a full bustle and elaborate draping.
