Attention Wednesday Riders. We are having the wind pick up quite a bit with gusts getting stronger. We are not sure at this moment if it will get worst but thought it best to give the heads up. Please comment that you have seen this post and keep an eye here for changes.

Just a reminder that Pemberley is only closed the 24th, 25th, 26th and then the 31st and the 1st. Lessons are running as usual.

Attention Monday Riders. We are having the Driveway redone Monday Morning. Please come in the other entrance to the property. If you are coming from the Mission Direction please go through the lights at Laity then turn right at the first driveway. If you are coming from the Pitt Meadows direction please come in the Driveway before the lights. You will see the the "Pemberley Riding School" sign there. Please park in the parking lot. We will have the contact tracing book set up on that side. Vests and helmets will be in the indoor arena. Thanks so much! Please comment that you have seen this post.

Hello Pemberley Families, This year has been has been a tough one for many families and Pemberley Riding School would like to give back to our wonderful community. We are hosting a Food Drive for the Friends In Need Food Bank starting Monday, November 23 to Monday, December 7th. We ask that when you come to your lesson you please bring a Non-Perishable food item with you. There will be a large clear plastic Container in the helmet and vest room. Also here is a list of the... most wanted items from the Food Bank. Cash donations are also accepted and can be given to your Coach. Thank you so much. Stay safe and healthy. See more

Attention all Pemberley Riders. Pemberley remains unaffected by the newest restrictions however a few changes have been made. First off, due to the new Mask Mandate everyone coming to Pemberley must be wearing a mask. Riders do not have to ride in them if they choose not to as we are outdoors. Secondly we can no longer allow spectators during lessons. If your child is part of our ASD Program or if your rider is under 7 one parent may stay to view the lesson wearing a mask.... Lastly, when coming in the driveway please do not park close to the arena fence. We have had the driveway redone but at this time we cannot repair the damage to the edge. Also please do not park up close to the barn and block the gate. We have many boarders who need to unload horse feed, hay and other items. Thanks so much everyone!

Attention Tuesday Riders so nothing has changed weather wise. The wind is still just as blustery and brutal as before, we now have the added spice of driving rain. Sadly, we have no choice but to cancel tonight. Please comment that you have read this post with your riders name and time. We will also be reaching out to you all as well. Sorry everyone.

Attention Wednesday Riders. We have been trying to decide what to do with this wind. We absolutely hate canceling lessons and only do so with saftey in mind. Horses are flight animals and wind creates an unpredictable working environment for horses (not to mention the wind blowing up their tails). The wind has not died down as much as we had hoped, in fact the gusts are bigger than they were this morning. In light of this we have to cancel. I hope everyone understands and we wish we did not have to. Please comment with your riders name and time. We will begin to reach out to you all personally. Attention Wednesday daytime riders. The wind is bad and predicted to get worse through the morning. Lessons are cancelled until 2:30, we’ll review later to see about evening lessons. I am trying to reach out to everyone, but please comment that you’ve seen this with the name and time of your DAYTIME rider.

Attention Tuesday Riders. Today is a very uncertain day. We have a big big wind storm on the way. We are unsure if this will interfere with evening lessons as this storm is supposed to be all day. Please keep an eye on our posts for any changes. Secondly, we are having the driveway redone again (4th times the charm). We are not sure how long it will take. Welcome to No Stirrup November!!!

Attention all Pemberley Families. Dr. Bonnie Henry and the Government of BC have put new Health Measures in place surrounding sports, gatherings and groups. We are pleased to announce that at this time these changes, as we are an outdoor socially distanced sport do not affect us. Lessons, Home School Program and The Barn Rat Program will all continue as usual. The only thing we still cannot do is host groups and run Birthday Parties. Attention Wednesday Riders. We are very very aware of the crazy weather today. The hail storm missed us but the wind has not. We are trying to decide what to do and will let you all know in a few minutes.

Congratulations to the Pemberley Riding School Show Team on all their hard work this season. Covid19 made it a little more difficult than usual but we still got out there and had a lot of fun. Big thank you as always to Mission Horse Club for hosting another amazing event. All our riders came home in the ribbons but as always it was about the fun!

Attention Tuesday Riders. There is a Wind Storm Warning in effect and the first part of the storm has already rolled in. The second part of the storm is supposed to be far worse. Attention Saturday Riders. The wind has picked up beyond what is safe. We are going to cancel all lesson until 10am. Fingers crossed the wind will blow itself out by then and we can continue our day. Please comment that you have read this message.

Just a reminder to all new and returning students. Please do not park on the side of the property with the big Blue Bin. That side of the property is off limits due to Covid19 restrictions. Please come in the same side as our Jumping arena and park along the arena fence. That is the best place to view lessons. Only 1 parent per family at ring side to keep down contact and to encourage social distancing. See you all in a bit.

Hi everyone. Lessons begin again this week. If you have not signed up your new rider or re-registered your returning rider we do have a few spaces across the program. Two of our Home School Programs are completely full but we do have a few spot in the 3rd. Message us for more details. Please remember that your rider must have boots with a little bit of a heel. They must be wearing stretchy pants as they will be getting on and off of a horse. We will supply the helmets and th...e vests. Due to Covid 19 protocol we ask that only 1 adult per family attend lessons. This allows us to socially distance in the indoor arena for viewing lessons. We will have our contact tracing sign in form set up on the table at the entrance as per Fraser Health. If a parent is going to come into the indoor to watch lessons we ask that they have on a mask. Riders are not required to at this time. Please only come in the entrance where the jumping arena is. We will have balloons set up outside this week to help guide you. All vests and helmets will now be on this side as we cannot allow anyone in the barns right now due to Covid19. Our first 2 weeks back will be nothing but walk lessons regardless of your ability. All the smoke over the past few weeks has resulted in our horses, like all other horses being exposed to smoke inhalation. They must have a gradual return to work to keep their lungs healthy. This also allows all our riders to settle back in and for all our new horses to het to know their new routines. Welcome back to Pemberley! Thank you everyone for an amazing Summer Season! We had so much fun hosting your riders during Camps and Summer lessons! We are still accepting new riders for fall. Please PM us if you are still wanting to be part of our Community. Pemberley, for the most part will be closed for the next 2 weeks to help us get ready for fall lessons. The first lesson back will be Monday Sept 21. Coach Dawn will be out of town on a much needed break for the long weekend. All Questions can be run through Assistant Coach Ruth until her return. Hi everyone. We will be opening registration for fall the last week in August. We are trying to have lessons go back to the way they were last year. Almost the same days and all. We are hoping for the days to go as follows Monday the 24th and Tuesday the 25th Returning Students to our Regular Program.... Wednesday the 26th Students returning to the Day Time Program, Homeschool Program and ASD Program Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th New Students looking for spots in all our Programs (English, Western, Adult, Daytime, HomeSchool, ASD, and Hunter/Jumper) We ask everyone who sends us Pm's to please be patient. If you are a returning student and liked your spot last year just message with your riders original Day/Time and their name and we will make sure your spot is secure. New students please call us after 4:30. 604-836-7522 so we can find you the best lesson space and time for you! **Our Head Coach is Internationally Certified and Recognized! She is a member of the CHA, BCHJA, Dressage BC, USHJA, USEF, and the NCCP. Both our Head Coach and Assistant Coach are both Behavioral Interventionists so they understand riders of all abilities!
