Message to Tool Library Members from the Men’s Shed Society: Firstly, we are very sad to let you know of the passing of Bill Reynolds who, as many of you know, was the guiding light that inspired the Men’s Shed group to start the Tool Library back in 2015. He will be greatly missed for his contributions to our group and the Pemberton community at large. His daughters have posted a notice in the Pique last week and are planning a memorial event in the Barn next summer. Secondl...y, over the Christmas period our usual Tool Library hours will be amended with closures on the following dates: Thursday, 13th Dec. Saturday, 22nd Dec. Sunday, 23rd Dec. If these closures cause an issue for you trying to get a project done over the period, please leave a message on our voice mail at 778 665 1046, and we try to accommodate your request. Finally, since Bill has been sick, the members of the Men’s Shed group have been running the tool library on a purely volunteer basis. Consequently, our procedures have been a bit lax over the last few months, so please bear with us as we collectively attempt get the operation running more smoothly. Despite the sad news, we wish you all a very Happy Christmas, Yours truly, Derek Walton, on behalf of the Pemberton Valley Men’s Shed Society.
