For one whole month Arnoul Mateo and I were stranded just outside a small native village after our vehicle broke down whilst on our mushroom picking adventure. It was a crazy and interesting month to say the least, and a story I thought was worth sharing. ... https://www.pennyp.net///10/6/foraging-in-british-columbia

Five years ago Georgina Savage, Max Favetti and I travelled to a unique and extremely quirky outback town of White Cliffs and filmed our first feature length documentary. Some fond memories were created here that, five years on, I still talk about like it was yesterday. Georgina has taken this film around the globe, sharing the story at international film festivals including Lift Off Globe Awards in London, and then to the online realm via Ozflix. To celebrate, White Cliffs is now publicly available for you to watch on Vimeo. Sit back and enjoy! Headphones recommended

Last year was a big year for me, with a four month trip to South America, four months on the slopes of Mount Hotham and two very different full time jobs in Melbourne. This year brings a new travel destination but this time it's not like any other trip I've done, as it will be a place of residence. Home is now in the ominous mountains of British Columbia, where awe-inspiring nature is quite literally at your doorstep. I'm so excited to see what Canada has to offer in all of its seasons.
