Hi everyone, This weekend, if you’re available for about 6 hours we have acquired cubicles for 1 of the locker rooms at Chow Field. However, We have to pick up & disassemble them in Indian Head. We’d be leaving tentatively at 8:30am Saturday. You’d need to bring a cordless impact, socket & bits. If available, call/text Pat 1-306-421-9233 We will provide transportation & EMF will buy lunch

One of the best times of the season is looking back & reflecting on our accomplishments. This year may have been different than anything we’ve ever witnessed but we had a resilient bunch with a desire to get out & hit the turf at all costs. Every season Penta Completions Estevan Minor Football gives the Bryan Illerbrun Award to a player who demonstrated good sportsmanship & is a leader both on the field and in the community. For those not aware, Bryan was born in Gainsborough..., Sk in 1957. He played high school football with the ECS Elecs before joining the University of Regina Rams. As an offensive lineman, Bryan played 14 seasons in the CFL, winning a Grey Cup in BC(1985) and with our Roughriders (1989) Sadly, Bryan left us in 2013. As a legacy of Bryan’s accomplishments in football, the Illibrun family donated this award. 2020 the Bryan Illerbrun Award is presented to Mercedes Paterson. Mercedes has been involved as a player with EMF for the past 6 seasons. She has practiced & traveled with the SouthSask Selects to Texas this past winter. As well attended Regina Riot Camps. Playing on the offensive line, Mercedes was a team member of both the U14 Estevan Lions Club Oilers as well was instrumental in recruiting players & playing with the inaugural season of the U18 Estevan Kinette Club Viragos. Weekly rituals would be 5 evening practices & up to two games during the season! She was also presented with the sportsmanship award in 2020 FROM BOTH TEAMS in 2020!! We cannot thank Mercedes enough for her leadership skills. If any questions needed to be answered among the players, they were all comfortable to approach her. We are just as thankful for her parents, Travis & Renee and sister Lexxus for letting Mercedes follow her Football Dream! Congratulations Mercedes, you bring a work ethic to the field every night that cannot be matched. We are excited to watch you pursue your dreams! See more

We officially wrapped up our 2020 season by hosting our Annual General Meeting this evening. Thank you to those that attended, as well those who put their name forward for the 2021 season as board members. Let’s introduce the newest member of the University of Regina Rams Football Team! We are so very proud to announce, Hunter Eagles will be joining their program in 2021 as a defensive back. Hunter started with EMF as an Atom Miner & played through into the ECS Elecs. During that time he’s played & adapted to many positions on the football field. On top of that, he’s assisted EMF coaches in the past 3 seasons. In the offseason, Hunter is involved with the Selects Football Program. We’re very proud of you Hunter & excited to see your football career go to the next level.

Congratulations to our good friend, Larry Preddy! Larry volunteers his time cutting the grass for us at both Woodlawn & Chow Fields among other things at the park. Thank you Larry for the countless hours you’ve put into the park & recreational facilities
