The Pacific Northwest Elvis Festival Society is supporting the Penticton & District Hospice Society - you can too! Come on out to Elvis Gospel Saturday, June 30th, 9 a.m. at Gyro Park to watch a great show and drop some coins in our blue buckets to help raise funds for the Hospice Society!

Come on out to Gyro Park on June 30th, 2019 to enjoy the Elvis Gospel Show. Tickets are only $2 and you can help support the Penticton & District Hospice Society by tossing some bucks in the buckets! National Hospice Palliative Care Week wrapped up on Saturday, May 14th with 2 draws: 1st prize - 2 tickets anywhere Westjet flies went to Rachel Kostiuk; 2nd prize - a $1000 Rona gift card went to Brad Steed. Congratulations to both of them and a big thanks to Westjet, Rona, Sherwood Trophies, Cherry Lane and to all the volunteers that helped make this event a success!

Moog & Friends Hospice House Wine & Art - Because you care April 28, 2019 Every dollar of the proceeds generated at this event will be matched by the SOSJ Okanagan (to a maximum amount of $20,000) and will go to help build a new kitchen for Moog & Friends Hospice House.... Join us at TIME Winery, downtown Penticton, and enjoy a fun afternoon of art, wine and small bites! Every $225 couples ticket holder and every $165 single ticket holder will be given a unique lottery number and go home with either an original piece of art or a special lot of wine worth over $200. A limited number of $65 Social tickets are available if you would like to bring an additional guest, who will be able to bid on the wall of wine and other auction items, but will not be eligible for the wine & art lottery. HOW IT WORKS: All the wine and art will be on display when you arrive, and you'll have time to pick your favourites. The lottery numbers will be drawn at random, and when your number is called, you pick the lot (either wine or art) you want. Don't worry if your number is the last one called -- we have a special prize for you! We will also be auctioning off a "wall of wine" -- 100 bottles of wine from the prize-winning entries to the 2018 Pacific Northwest Wine Competition & the cellar of Harry McWatters of TIME Winery. Other special wine & art pieces are also available for auction! WHO IT HELPS: You can help build the new kitchen at Moog & Friends Hospice House, serving the entire South Okanagan. This new kitchen will feature a secured area for use by staff and a separate area for families and volunteers to prepare food for patients. The facility’s kitchen has not been updated since it opened in 1998 and is no longer food-safe. The 2nd Annual Wine & Art Because You Care event is an innovative fundraising initiative of the Okanagan members of the Sovereign Order of St. John. The Order has been in existence worldwide since the 11th century, providing support to community organizations focusing on hospice, healthcare and homelessness.
