PMHA Graduate feature: Ethan "Russ" Russell #4 1. Best minor hockey memory: Winning a kelowna tournament in shootout versus nelson. 2. Will miss the most about minor hockey: The team and the competition. 3. What have you learned from minor hockey: I have learned how to be a more outgoing and passionate person.... 4. Career goals? I want to take psychology and become a counsellor so that I can help those who feel like they aren’t heard. 5. Want to thank anyone? Thank you for helping me have some of the best times of my life, I’ll never forget my time with pmha See more
Today we feature PMHA graduate player #16 Isaac "Noose" Newson! His favourite hockey memory is winning the playoffs in 2020. He will miss laughing with the boys the most when he's done minor hockey. Something he's learned from hockey is that some things are out of your control. His career goals are looking forward to "beer league" and laughing more with the boys. Newson would like to thank coach Wade Parker for giving him the best 4 years of hockey in his life! Congrats Isaac and thank you for your years with PMHA! #pmhagrad

PMHA is pleased to announce the addition of USA Olympic gold medalist, Amanda Pelkey to our staff for the 2020/21 season! Amanda was scheduled to play professionally in Calgary this year, however, the Covid-19 pandemic has stalled those plans and PMHA is beyond excited to welcome her to the fold for this season. She will be completed her quarantine following this weekend, so you will see her in the rink real soon! Pelkey is a 2018 Olympic gold medalist with USA, 2 time wor...ld champion gold medalist (2016 & 2017), she helped the Boston Pride earn the first-ever Isobel Cup in 2016 as part of the inaugural season of the National Women's Hockey League (2015-16) & finished her collegiate career as the University of Vermont’s all-time leader in goals (49), assists (56) and points (105). She loves coaching skating and edge control and applying that to being a deceptive skill player. She feels strongly about teaching game like scenarios and giving the athletes more options to use in their tool box. Amanda looks forward mostly to building relationships with the players in the organization and hopes can help them with their development and make them love the game even more. Welcome Amanda to the Vees team!
