This could be your view!! The high water followed by fire in the News mean less people are up for vacations. Great news for those of us who like a less crowded beach : )

We had a very hard afternoon tasting at some more wineries so that we can hone our list of recommendations : ) Pleased to report that Pentage Wines on the Skaha side of Penticton is as lovely as ever, and we were able to bring our own picnic to have here with a glass of their GSM.

Excited to say that the Oven at Upper Bench is officially open for business! Fabulous quality Neapolitan pizza from our dear friend Chris Royal and some sweet cheese and wine to go with. I wish I had a picture of the pizza, but you get the idea. Oh yeah, and it's a 10 minute walk from our home : )

The lake might be full and the beaches covered in water, but the wineries certainly don't seem to have the same problem. Plenty to do in the OK despite a voluptuously wet spring. Also, it's 30 degrees....
