SAFETY REMINDER: Many kids are heading back to school today and your Penticton Firefighters would like to remind motorists, students and parents to be aware of ...back to school traffic and pedestrians. SOME SAFETY TIPS FOR STUDENTS - walk on sidewalks and use marked crosswalks whenever possible; - walk your bike across intersections and crosswalks and use bike lanes when available; - before crossing, always look both ways; - wear brighter coloured clothing. SAFETY TIPS FOR MOTORISTS - slow down and obey speed limits in school zones; - yield to pedestrians at crosswalks; - watch for bikes, crossing guards and school buses; - be on the lookout for children walking and running

We've heard you! We've added some morning bike times this week! We're open now and Thursday in the afternoon (still 2-4pm) and this Thursday, Sept 3rd and Friday, Sept 4th from 9am until 12pm. Free. Come on down for a peddle.
